About Otter Chaos

Otter Chaos is an independent retail shop located in Silver City, New Mexico. We sell products both in our local shop and online through otter-chaos.com.

Our online store is powered by Shopify.

We do our best to accurately represent the products available from Otter Chaos, including descriptions, photographs, dimensions, materials, colors, and other details.

Many of the things we sell are handmade, locally made, artist-created, recycled, repurposed, or produced in small quantities. Small variations may be part of what makes an item unique and should be expected.

Colors and appearance can also vary depending on your screen and device.

We reserve the right to change product descriptions, prices, availability, or other information at any time.

Product Availability

Some products sold online may also be available in our Silver City shop.

We do our best to keep inventory accurate, but occasionally an item may sell locally before our online inventory updates or otherwise become unavailable after an order is placed.

If we're unable to fulfill an item you've ordered, we'll contact you and issue a refund for the unavailable item.

Prices and Payment

Prices are listed in U.S. dollars unless otherwise stated.

Applicable taxes, shipping charges, and other fees will be shown during checkout when required.

We reserve the right to correct pricing or listing errors. If an error affects an order you've already placed, we'll contact you before proceeding whenever appropriate.

Payment must be successfully authorized before an order is fulfilled.

Orders

Submitting an order does not guarantee acceptance of the order.

We reserve the right to cancel, limit, or refuse an order when reasonably necessary, including in cases involving suspected fraud, pricing or inventory errors, unauthorized resale activity, payment issues, or other circumstances that prevent us from completing the transaction.

If we cancel an order after payment has been processed, the applicable amount will be refunded.

Shipping

Delivery dates are estimates unless expressly stated otherwise. Once a package has been transferred to a shipping carrier, circumstances outside our control may affect delivery.

Local Pickup

When available, customers may choose local pickup at our Silver City shop during checkout.

Please wait until you receive confirmation that your order is ready before coming to pick it up.

Pickup instructions, location information, and applicable hours will be provided with your order.

Returns, Exchanges, and Refunds

Returns, exchanges, and refunds are governed by our current Refund & Return Policy.

Please review that policy before making a purchase, particularly for handmade, artist-created, clearance, final-sale, or other products that may have different return eligibility.

Gift Cards

If Otter Chaos offers gift cards, their use may be subject to additional terms displayed at the time of purchase.

Gift cards cannot be redeemed for cash except where required by law.
